Golf Week has one of the worse train wreck stories I have ever read. With just three holes to play in the first stage of Q School, Aaron Barber—who is perhaps best known for playing with Anika Sorenstam at the Colonial—was ten under the cut line, and in third place.
He finshed double bogey – quad – quad and missed the cut by one stroke.
Barber has now quit competitive golf—he won’t even try to regain his amateur status.
