In The Mail: Cobra F-Max Superlite Fairway Metal
In the mail for testing this week is a Cobra F-Max Superlite Fairway Metal three “wood.”
Designed for slower-swinging players, the Cobra F-Max has a lighter head, shaft and grip. That’s intended to help players generate more speed (and thus more distance) without more effort. The club also has internal weighting to create a draw bias and lower the center of gravity.
I particularly like the low profile shape.
Since the weather is holding out here in Michigan, I will give this a full test over the next few weeks. My initial impressions are highly favorable. I’ve finally found a fairway metal that I can hit consistently.
