In The Mail: Honma TW 757 Hybrid
Arriving in the mail for review this week is a Honma TW 757 Hybrid.
The hybrid features a sole slot for higher launch and added speed and is built with an SUS630 stainless steel body paired with a 455-carpenter steel face.
The company designs and manufactures both the clubheads and the shafts, with an eye toward perfectly integrating the two.
These premium materials also support a new Vertical Slot Face Insert to more effectively manage both centered and mishit shots alike.
Honma is a well-known, and bestselling golf club brand in Japan. It is probably best known for its Beres line of high-end clubs that feature precious metals in the construction.
Fortunately, Honma also makes lines of clubs that are more moderately priced, such as their T//World and TR lines.
The TW 757 hybrid is in their T//World line.
The club was shipped to me directly from Japan, with very little delay, which is surprising given the shipping issues these days. I know that it came directly from Japan because the box was padded with Japanese newspapers.
I did a review of Honma’s XP-1 Driver last year. I really liked it.
I’ll have a full review in a few weeks after I finish testing.
