In The Mail: Swiftwick Socks
I recently received a sample of Swiftwick socks for testing. Handmade in the US from sustainable fibers, including Swiftwick‘s signature olefin fiber and American merino wool, they are designed for durability and comfort.
As the name suggests, Swiftwick claims bragging rights as the sock that wicks sweat better than any other.
The Performance One (left) is 80% nylon, 14% spandex for managed compression. The Pursuit One (center) is 66% Merino Wool, 28% nylon and 6% Spandex for managed compression and has a sculptured footbed and seamless toe. Wool is a naturally moisture and temperature managing fabric. The Maxus One (right) is 62% Polyester, 24% Nylon, 12% Olefin and 2% Spandex. It is has the thickest footbed of the three, and has a “Linked Toe” technology to eliminate toe seam irritation and help reduce blisters.
Longtime readers know that the GolfBlogger is a dedicated walker, so these seem right up my alley. I’ll have a full report after a few rounds in the socks.
