The A Swing: The Alternative Approach to Great Golf
Recently arriving in the Golfblogger mailbox is a new book by David Leadbetter, The A Swing. In this case, the “A” stands for “Alternative.” Leadbetter says that he has developed an alternative to the traditional swing that is easier to learn and maintain, that that fixes the most common faults.
Leadbetter, of course, is well known as one of golf’s premier instructors, and is currently working with player such as Lydia Ko and Rafael Cabrera-Bello.

So what makes the A Swing unique? The major difference occurs in the backswing. Golfers and instructors spend a great deal of time trying to develop or correct this part of the swing in the quest to make a good downswing … The A Swing simplifies things a great deal, making the all-important downswing that much easier to achieve.
I’m willing to give it a try, especially if it will fix my chicken wing.
