Indy Women In Tech Championship Winners and History

The Indy Women In Tech Championship is played at one of the most unusual courses on the professional golf tours: The Pete Dye-designed Brickyard Crossing course at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

What makes the course unusual is that four of the holes are played inside the Brickyard. Normally, these holes are 7 – 10, but for the tournament the course is re-routed so that the four are the finishing holes.

The inaugural event, in 2017, was played as a 54 hole event due to its proximity to the Evian Championship, which is considered a Major by the LPGA.

Sponsor Group1001 is an insurance holding company with assets of $36 billion.
