Is Pinaud Clubman On Your Locker Room’s Counter?

When I belonged to Washtenaw Country Club, a staple among the toiletries in the locker room was Pinaud Clubman. Not being an cologne kind of guy, I didn’t use it. But there were many who did. I was interested, therefore, in this article on the best drugstore colognes and aftershaves. It describes Clubman as

… potent stuff. You’ll find hints of orange, lemon, jasmine, and lavender with a warm musk background in this manly concoction. It also has a nice antiseptic alcohol smell to it. You’d think smelling like rubbing alcohol would be a bad thing, but somehow Pinaud-Clubman makes it work.

Pinaud makes a lot more than the classic aftershave, including various kinds of styling gels, talc powders, and various other aftershave and cologne “flavors.” I think the Bay Rum might smell nice.
