It’s National Coffee Day!
September 29 is National Coffee Day.
I don’t know who sets these dates, but it seems to be that the end of September is as good a day as any. The weather here in Michigan is getting much cooler, and a mug of good coffee soon will replace a bottle of cold water for my rounds of golf.
Coffee is the latest thing for golf’s original mad scientist, Phil Mickelson. Phil says that a magic brew he drinks helps his performance. Created by Dave Philips, the brew involves Ethiopian Yirgacheffe coffee, almond milk, cinnamon, Yiragacheffe Cacao nibs and medium chain triglyceride oil.
Phil also apparently lost his weight with a six day coffee and water fast.
I’m not trying that one.
For my part, my favorite coffee is cold brew, poured over ice with a little sweet cream. I’m also partial to hot coffee brewed with some cinnamon tossed into the ground beans.
I’ve had the opportunity to review a couple of coffee products over the last couple of years and I thought I’d link to them here.
Good Walk Coffee
GolfBlogger’s Good Walk Coffee Review
Good Walk Coffee is a brand created by a golf enthusiast. It’s got blend names like Dew Sweeper, Center Cut and Breakfast Ball. I tested the Breakfast Ball and really enjoyed it.
Sudden Coffee
GolfBlogger’s Sudden Coffee Review
Sudden Coffee is an instant coffee mix that is probably about as good as instant coffee can get.
Enjoy your National Coffee Day
