It’s National Margarita Day

I don’t think anyone needs an excuse for a margarita after a long week at work. In case you do, however, I’ll point out that today is National Margarita Day.

Here’s my recipe:

2 ounces FRESH lime juice.
1 ounce Patron Citronge Orange Liqueur
3 ounces quality tequila
Garnish with lime
Salt on rim if desired.

The key is fresh lime juice, squeezed straight from the limes. Lime juice from a bottle, or a prepackaged mix are abominations.
