Jordan Spieth Showcased At AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am #ATTProAm #ATTInfluencer
Jordan Spieth headlines this week’s AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, showcasing both his status as World Number One and his relationship with AT&T. Sponsored by AT&T since 2014, Spieth’s golf bag, caddie towel, and umbrella feature the AT&T logo.
To celebrate this relationship, AT&T will give Jordan Spieth bobbleheads to the first 8,000 fans at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am on Saturday, Feb. 13.
The bobble head is featured in a series of videos produced by AT&T, which you can find on YouTube. You can also follow the adventures of Jordan’s bobblehead on Twitter @att
AT&T has been the sponsor of the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am for 31 years, making it the second-longest continuous title sponsor on the PGA TOUR. The tournament, which began as the Crosby Clambake in the 1930s, features top PGA TOUR professionals teamed with Hollywood celebrities, world-renowned musicians and captains of industry playing for a $7 million purse.
Golf tournaments are a symbiotic relationship. Proceeds from the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am benefit the Monterey Peninsula Foundation. AT&T receives the opportunity to connect with customers and golf fans to share their passion for golf and technology. Fans enjoy the entertainment. Professional golfers have the opportunity for a pay day.
For fans who can attend the tournament, AT&T will expand its network on the courses with 2 Cells On Wheels (COWs), giving golf fans 50% more LTE coverage, along with AT&T Wi-Fi and AT&T Entertainment Services.
For those who can’t make it to the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-AM, AT&T offers special viewing options on its latest acquisition: DirecTV. The GolfBlogger has been on DirecTV for more than a decade, and with AT&T internet services for twenty (I had the first DSL line in my neighborhood), so I was glad to see that the two have joined forces. DirecTV viewers can tune into channel 701 for up to four screens of enhanced coverage, including an interactive leaderboard, scorecard with expanded player stats and player bios.
This year’s list of celebrities include Chris Berman, Carson Daly, Josh Donaldson, Tom Dreesen, Josh Duhamel, Larry Fitzgerald, Colt Ford, Kenny G, Andy Garcia, Larry the Cable Guy, Wayne Gretzky, Jim Harbaugh, Toby Keith, Thomas Keller, Huey Lewis, Gary Mule Deer, Kunal Nayyar, Chris O’Donnell, Jake Owen, Alfonso Ribeiro, Aaron Rodgers, Ray Romano, Joe Don Rooney, Kelly Slater, Alex Smith, Justin Timberlake, Mark Wahlberg, Clay Walker and Steve Young.
