Kinzd recently sent a selection of their wallets for review. All three are slim — even minimalist — and very easy to slip into a pocket.

I thought that all of the wallets were well-made, and a very good bargain. All three are under $14 on Amazon.

The Kinzd Slim Wallet has six card slots, an ID window and a money pocket in a 1.4″ x 3.15″ x 0.12″ package. The wallet is made of leather, and comes in a variety of colors. The stitching is tight and even, and while it is not likely to last a lifetime, you should be more than able to get your money’s worth out of it. In my front pocket, the Kinzd slim wallet is almost unnoticeable.

I have not the means to test it, but Kinzd says that the wallet protects from RFID snooping.

Kinzd’s magnetic leather money clip wallet has three card slots, a display window, a change pocket and a fairly strong magnetic money clip. The leather has a grain to it, but feels nice in the fingers. The wallet measures 4.3″ x 2.8″ x 0.1″.

The wallet fits well in the front pocket. I am keeping this one in the pocket of my golf bag, though, along with some bills for snacks and tips. When it comes time to play, it will be easy enough to transfer my driver’s license to the display windows slot.

Like the Slim wallet above, the Money Clip wallet is said to block RFID, but for some reason, the manufacturer specifies that only applies to RFID  13.56 MHz Frequency (for Credit cards, debit cards, driver license and ID cards), but does not block the 125 KHz frequency.

The most intriguing of the wallets Kinzd sent was the “Minimalist.” This wallet consists of a tough elastic band and a keychain. The interior of the band has two slots, and an additional one is on the outside. The idea of this wallet is that elastic simply holds everything securely together.

I found that the elastic comfortably secures half a dozen cards, including ID and a small selection of bills. The outside pocket, while ostensibly for change, really can’t hold anything. Still, this is a really nice idea, well executed.

In general, I thought the wallets are well-made and well-thought-out. The price is spot on. Recommended.
