How Did LIV Players Do In The Asian Tour International Series Singapore?
Twenty-two LIV team members teed it up at the Asian Tour’s International Series Singapore this past weekend. Headlined by Patrick Reed, they presumably played in an attempt to acquire Official World Golf Ranking Points, since they obviously don’t need a part of the $1.5 million purse.
Of the LIV players, the unknown Phachara Khongwatmai had the best showing, with a T2.
Of the “name” players, Reed finished T31, while Peter Uihlein finished T7.
To be fair, though Reed and some of the other LIV players likely were suffering a bit from jet lag and were playing on an entirely unfamiliar course, in likely unfamiliar conditions.
