Made In Himmerland Golf Tournament Winners and History

The Made In Himmerland tournament debuted in 2014. The current presenting sponsor is FREJA, a transportation and logistics company.

It previously was known as Made In Denmark.

The only previous European Tour event held in Denmark was the 2003 Nordic Open.

The 2019 edition coincided with the European eTour Championship. Eight top players of the online golf game “World Golf Tour” by TopGolf will compete in a virtual match play for a price fund of $5,000. More than 15 million play WGT around the world.

The Made In Denmark is played Himmerland Golf & Spa Resort’s Backtree course. For the tournament, the course is a 7,033 yard par 71.

  1. A wonderful tournament and a great audience. I have played and watched golf for over 70 years and believe this to be the best organised and most enthusiastically supported golf tournament I have ever seen. Once again, congratulations to all, especially the Danish people
