I love to make things. In fact, I originally got into golf via repairing and making clubs. My other hobby is miniature wargaming, which involves lots of painting tiny soldiers, modeling, and other crafty stuff.
Perhaps as a response to our digital, virtual lives, making things has become a big deal these days. There’s an entire “Maker” subculture with magazines, conventions (known as Maker Faires) and lots of local clubs.
