Masters Week Television Schedule 2020
We are missing the Masters this week — the first cancellation since 1943 – 1945.
In its place, however, ESPN and CBS are broadcasting the final rounds of several tournaments
The viewing schedule is below:
Date | Time | Channel | Masters |
April 8 | 1 – 3:30 | ESPN | 2018 Par 3 Contest |
3:30 – 7 | ESPN, Masters.Com, Masters Facebook and Masters Youtube | 1986 Final Round (Nicklaus)
April 9 | 2 – 7:30 | ESPN | 2012 Masters Final Round (Bubba Watson) |
2 – 7:30 | ESPN, Masters.Com, Masters Facebook and Masters Youtube | 1997 Final Round (Tiger)
April 10 | 12 – 6 | ESPN | 2013 Masters Final Round (Adam Scott) |
6 to 11:30 | ESPN, Masters.Com, Masters Facebook and Masters Youtube | 2005 Final Round (Tiger)
April 11 | 2:30 | CBS, Masters.Com, Masters Facebook and Masters Youtube | 2004 Final Round (Phil) |
April 12 | 12:30 | CBS, Masters.Com, Masters Facebook and Masters Youtube | 2019 Final Round (Tiger) |
It’s not a bad lineup, but I think they should have spread it out a little more. No one needs to see three Tiger wins in five days. How about showing the 1996 tournament and let us analyze the famous Norman collapse again. Fred Couples’ 1992 win would be interesting to see.
I also would have liked to see archival footage of Masters that few have seen, such as those from teh 1960s and early 1970s.
Still, of us on house arrest due to the coronavirus, it’s a welcome chance to see some golf — even if we already know the outcome.
