The PGA.Com site has an inspirational short article on a Minnesota man who took up golf at age 74, and who is still playing at age 98.
It is a reminder of several things that make the game great: that, thanks to handicaps and varying tee boxes, it’s accessible to everyone and that golf is a game for a lifetime. You don’t take up football or soccer at age 74 and continue to play until you’re nearly 100.
It is my goal to still be playing the game at 100.
