Morgan Stanley Will Auction Off Acushnet/ Titleist/ Footjoy

Bloomburg is reporting that Morgan Stanley will conduct an auction of the Fortune Brands golf division (Acushnet, Titleist, Footjoy) that is expected to bring as much as $1.5 billion. Nike, Adidas and Sumitomo Rubber Industries (Srixon) are mentioned as potential buyers.

I still like UnderArmor for the job.

  1. I am thinking Nike will be the high bidder for Titleist.

    I still think it will be Callaway that UnderArmour will buy after the Fortune Brands sell off.
