Winged Foot – 5 (1929, 1959, 1974, 1984, and 2006)
Merion – 5 (1934, 1950, 1971, 1981, and 2013)
Olympic – 5 (1955, 1966, 1987, 1998, and 2012)
Pebble Beach – 5 (1972, 1982, 1992, 2000, and 2010)
Inverness – 4 (1920, 1931, 1957, and 1979)
Myopia – 4 (1898, 1901, 1905, and 1908)
Shinnecock Hills – 4 (1896, 1986, 1995, and 2004)
Cherry Hills – 3 (1938, 1960, 1978)

As it turns out, nearly half of the US Opens have been played on ten courses.
Most of these are on my bucket list of courses … so if anyone out there … just sayin’ … (I have managed to play Oakland Hills, Medinah and Colonial).
