Oakmont – 9 times (1927, 1935, 1953, 1962, 1973, 1983, 1994, 2007 and 2016)
Baltusrol – 7 (1903, 1915, 1936, 1954, 1967, 1980, and 1993)
Oakland Hills – 6 (1924, 1937, 1951, 1961, 1985, and 1996)
Winged Foot – 5 (1929, 1959, 1974, 1984, and 2006)
Merion – 5 (1934, 1950, 1971, 1981, and 2013)
Olympic – 5 (1955, 1966, 1987, 1998, and 2012)
Pebble Beach – 5 (1972, 1982, 1992, 2000, and 2010)

As it turns out, nearly half of the US Opens have been played on ten courses.

Most of these are on my bucket list of courses … so if anyone out there … just sayin’ … (I have managed to play Oakland Hills, Medinah and Colonial).
