MyGolfLife Open Hosted by Pecanwood Winners and History
New for the 2022 season on the European Tour / DP World Tour / Sunshine Tour circuit is the MyGolfLife Open Hosted by Pecanwood.
The tournament is co-sanctioned by the European Tour (which is rebranding itself for monetary reasons to the DP World Tour) and the Sunshine Tour. The Sunshine Tour is based in South Africa, but also incorporates Botswana, Eswatini, Kenya, Mauritius, Namibia, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
In 2022, the Sunshine Tour has seven tournament co-sanctioned by the European Tour.
MyGolfLife is a South Africa based digital golf platform. It digital rewards, tee times, online scoring, game improvement tips and offers from The Pro Shop, which is said to be Africa’s largest golf retailer.
Pecanwood Estate is a South Africa golf community that boasts a Jack Nicklaus signature golf course. The course is a par 72 that can extend to 7, 697 yards.
