Nationwide Children’s Hospital Championship Winners and History

Played at Ohio State’s Scarlet Course, the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Championship has been a staple of the Korn Ferry Tour since 2007.

Ohio State grad Jack Nicklaus is its honorary host

For the first six years, the tournament was a regular Korn Ferry Tour event, with the distinction of extending invitations to top collegiate golfers. Amateurs Daniel Summerhays and Harris English won during that period.

Beginning in 2013, the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Championship has been part of the Korn Ferry Tour Finals, with a field of the top 75 Korn Ferry Tour players and players ranked 126 – 200 on the PGA TOUR.

Nationwide is of course an insurance company. It is based in Columbus, Ohio.
