The Nationwide Tour has concluded the 2011 season, and the twenty five players who topped the money list are on their way to the PGA Tour. Most interesting to me is that two-time heart transplant patient Erik Compton made the list.
Compton received his first heart at age 12, and took up golf as a fitness program. He received another sixteen years later.
This should be the feel good story of next year on the Tour. If I were a PGA tour publicist, I would be all over this one.
