Nicholas Colsaerts hit a 447 yard drive during Thursday’s round at the Wales Open. That turned the 613 yard par 5 hole into a driver-wedge play for an Eagle.
Ridiculous.
The longest drive on the PGA Tour this year was Bubba Watson’s 424 yard shot during the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational.
Maybe there’s something to the “roll back the ball” movement.
