Matt Ginella on Morning Drive just revealed the secret that Michigan residents have long known: Michigan golf is amazing for quality and value. He rated Northern Michigan as #1 for golf buddy trips.
That’s right. Not Myrtle Beach. Northern. Michigan.
I’d also add West Michigan to that. The courses in the Kalamazoo/Battle Creek and Grand Rapids areas are nearly as good in quality and value, and a lot closer to big time airports in Detroit, Chicago and Grand Rapids.
The Pure Michigan golf campaign should be all over this endorsement.
