This past Monday, I played one of the most enjoyable rounds of the year. Starting at a quarter to three, I managed to squeeze in eighteen, finishing the last two holes in near dark.
Temperatures were in the mid 60s, which meant shorts weather. For me, that’s perfect golf weather.
My three-some was making good time, but on the last two holes, we had to play speed golf. Hit, run and hit again. I got pars on both holes. There is a lot to be said for not thinking too much about the swing.
