Odds To Win The 2017 US Open

Odds To Win the 2017 US OpenWith just two weeks to go until the 2017 US Open at Erin Hills, Dustin Johnson is the leader in the odds clubhouse at 6/1. Assuming that he doesn’t slip on another set of stairs, this might be the time to take advantage of a Sky Vegas Promo Code and put some of your hard earned money down. Erin Hills is a long, rolling course that seems to me to be perfect for the big bomber. You can read my Erin Hills review here. I’ve also got a video tour of Erin Hills.

Johnson has had an impressive year. Currently ranked #1 in FedEx Cup and OWGR standings, he has wins at the WGC-Dell Match Play, the WGC-Mexico and the Genesis Open.

Another long hitter, Rory McIlroy is the bettor’s second pick, coming in at 9/1. McIlroy has no PGA TOUR wins this year, but finished T4 at the HSBC Championships and at the Arnold Palmer Invitational. At the year’s first Major, The Masters, McIlroy finished T7. Unfortunately, McIlroy is recovering right now from a rib injury.

Jordan Spieth is in third at 10/1. In 2017, Jordan has a win at Pebble Beach, a T2 at the Dean & Deluca and a solo third at the Sony Open. His game has been off his 2015 standard, though.  He finished just out of the top 10 in the Masters this year.

The fourteenth at Erin Hills is a 609 yard par 5. From the middle tees, it measures 505.

Another PGA TOUR stalwart, Jason Day, is in at 11/1. Day has had a difficult year with the illness of his mother, but has managed a second at the Byron Nelson, a T5 at Pebble Beach, and a T12 at the SBS Tournament of Champions.

On his first full year on the PGA TOUR, Rahm has managed to excite golf fans to the point where he is the fifth most favored at 16/1 for the 2017 US Open. Rahm has a win at the Farmers Insurance, a second at the WGC-Dell Match Play and a T2 at the Dean & Deluca. He currently is ranked 4th in the Fedex Cup and 9 in the OWGR.
