Odds To Win The Masters 2020

Who will win the Masters in 2020?

Picking a Masters winner is a tougher proposition than usual. With COVID forcing a move from April to November, players will be largely unfamiliar with ground and weather conditions. Augusta National will of course be perfect, but undoubtedly different.

The oddsmakers at Sports Betting Dime have Bryson DeChambeau at 12/1. Speculation is that DeChambeau’s prodigious length will give him a decided advantage a course that likely will play softer, and in cooler weather that restricts distance for shorter players.

In fact, nearly all the players favored to win the Masters in 2020 are known for their length off the tee: Dustin Johnson is in at 13/1; John Rahm at 14/1; McIlroy at 16/1 and; Justin Thomas at 16/1.

Reigning Champion Tiger Woods is in at 39/1. This might be the lowest I’ve seen him in years. He was 12/1 in 2019 and 9/1 in 2018. Tiger was out due to injury in 2017 and 2016. In 2015 and 2014, he was the favorite at 9/1.

Prop bets have Phil favorited to miss the cut at 3/1. I certainly hope not. He’s one of the most entertaining golfers around.
