Odds To Win The Memorial 2020

No one and nothing moves the needle in the golf world like Tiger Woods. Therefore interest is high as he returns this week to the Memorial at Muirfield Village.

Tiger has won the Memorial five times in his career, so it comes a a bit of a surprise that he’s not the favorite. In fact, at 22/1, he’s tied for eighth in the William Hill odds.

Bryson DeChambeau, who has generated much interest for his retooled body and extraordinary drives, leads the odds at 9/1. Justin Thomas and Patrick Cantlay are right behind him at 12/1 apiece, followed by Dustin Johnson at 13/1.

Woods actually opened at 30/1 before settling in at 22/1 along with Brooks Koepka and last week’s Workday Charity Open winner Collin Morikawa, which also took place at Muirfield Village Golf Club.

Besides Woods, another golfer who has seen a sizable odds shift from the opening number is Jon Rahm. Rahm was listed originally at 25/1, where one Nevada bettor put down $1,500 on him for a potential total payout of $39,000. That is both the biggest wager and potential total payout thus far at William Hill for the Memorial Tournament.

Rahm has dropped down to 15/1, tied with the fifth-lowest odds along with Rory McIlroy. Additionally, another Nevada bettor placed $1,250 on Rahm 16/1 for a total potential payout of $21,250.

Woods has seen some notable action as well. The biggest bet on Woods as of now was a Nevada bettor who laid $500 on him at 30/1 for a total potential payout of $15,500.

One long shot who has received a couple noteworthy bets has been Matthew Wolff. A Nevada bettor put $250 on Wolff 100/1 for a total potential payout of $25,250, while a New Jersey bettor placed $104 on Wolff 100/1 for a total potential payout of $10,504. As a result, Wolff’s odds have moved down to 75/1.
