Odds For the BMW Championship - FedEx Cup

Tiger Woods is still the odds-on favorite to win the BMW Championship in spite of showing no recent signs of winning.

Now that I think about it, that’s a remarkable statement. And yet, it’s true. The difficulty is—and why he’s still the bettors favorite—is that there isn’t any one else who you can count on.

Unless it’s Steve Stricker, who clocks in with Padraig Harrington at 14/1.

Jim Furyk (20-1), Phil Mickelson (25/1), Hunter Mahan and Geoff Ogilvy (28/1) and the triumvirate of Retief Goosen, Ernie Els and Sergio Garcia (33/1) fill out the top ten.

Here’s hoping that the BMW is as good as the first two rounds of the FedEx Cup.

  1. Odds seem a little screwey to me.  Yang is ranked 80-1?  I would put him up there above Phil right now.  Tiger 7/4?  I would say it is at least 2/1, but it is no worse than 4/1 in my book.  Because of his attitude and also how interesting the last few weeks have been, I am pretty much rooting against Tiger hard now.  That alone betters his odds.

  2. BTW- How does Sergio get up there above 40/1?  Are you kidding?  I am willing to take anyones money that wants to bet Sergio on those odds.
