Davis Love isn’t at the top of this list, but given his five victories at Harbour Town, I’m surprised that bettors have him at 125/1. Boo Weekley, who’s won two of the last four years, is in at 66/1—a mere middle of the pack choice.
So who’s the favorite? Luke Donald, at 8/1. Make sense, considering that he’s currently third in the world and the highest ranked player in the world. Matt Kuchar, in at 14/1, is the tenth ranked player, and the second highest ranked in the field. Last year’s winner Jim Furyk is in at 16/1. I like Furyk for this one. This course seems to like repeat winners. There have been nine multiple winners, including Love, who won five times, and Hale Irwin who won three.

Well, my eye is on Davis Love, but he isn’t on my team yet. I just think he isn’t going to six-peat with the rest of the field here.
I have Na, who I think is going to go strong after the 16, and I do have Boo Radley, I mean Weakley.
And I have JD on there, just because I still have hope, and it is about time for him to have a strong Thursday & Friday.
Snedeker, Steele, Crane, Baddeley, Day, Donald, and McDowell are my other picks.
I don’t have my team up yet. I’m not convinced about Donald. I like Furyk and you can’t go wrong with Kuchar … he’s always hanging around the top.
