Odds To Win The Tour Championship 2012

After winning the last two FedEx Cup events, Rory McIlroy is the hottest player on the planet. But what are the odds that he could win three in a row?

9/2 to be exact.

At least, those are the odds for Rory to win the Tour Championship, according to Bovada.lv It would really be something, wouldn’t it?

McIlroy is one of five players who are “in control of their own destiny.” They can win the entire FedEx ball of wax by winning the Tour Championshipn at East Lake outright.

The four remaining are Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Nick Watney and Brandt Snedeker. The odds for the five:

  1. Rory and Tiger are playing well it’s hard to see either of them finishing outside of their minimum required positions to win the whole thing. With the field being only limited to the top 30 it makes their chances even greater.

    The outsider for mine is Adam Scott. He’s playing great golf at present and if his putter has a good week is capable of being up near the finish.
