Patrick Reed won the 2015 Tournament of Champions, making him just the fourth player in the last twenty years to win four tournaments before the age of 25. The others? Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy and Sergio Garcia.
Reed famously rankled the golf cognoscenti last year when, after a victory at the WGC-Cadillac At Doral, he declared himself a Top Five player. It was a bold statement, but at this point, he is climbing up to that position. His record at the Ryder Cup was 3-0-1, eclipsing ever US player and every European player but Graeme McDowell, who was 3-0-0.
Patrick Reed is one to pay attention to in the upcoming months.
