PGA Championship Records
Here are a few records for the PGA Championship, including low scores, holes in one and largest lead.
Brooks Koepka — the Majors Savant — holds several of these, including Lot 18 hole score, largest 36- and 72-hole lead, and wire to wire leads.
Will Southern Hills yield a new low scoring record in 2022? I think it unlikely. The course is playing as long as 7, 556 yards and the Perry Maxwell course has a reputation for difficulty.
Like Oakland Hills, Southern Hills has in recent years undergone a Gil Hanse restoration and reinvigoration. How this design will hold up to a major challenge will be tested this week.
