A couple of weeks ago, we took a family excursion to Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore in Munising, Michigan. While the park consists of 73,000 acres, the name comes from the 15 miles of colorful sandstone cliffs on Lake Superior. To see the best of the cliffs up close, you’ll need to take a two-and-a-half hour, 32 mile round trip boat ride.
