Piot Wins Second Pro Event

James Piot, winner of the 2021 US Amateur, and a regular at Washtenaw Golf Club, has won his second pro tournament.

Formerly with LIV, and now playing on the Minor League Golf Tour, Piot has won his second event in three starts.

Piot in 2021 at Washtenaw Golf Club with his US Amateur trophy.

Piot played college golf at Michigan State, and was the first golfer from the Mitten State to win a US Amateur.

With no standing on any tour, Piot signed with LIV in 2022, reportedly earning $6 million, including a signing bonus and nearly $4 million in on-course earnings. He left LIV at the end of 2023.

Hopefully, Piot can work his way back onto one of the major tours.
