Raspberry Bourbon Cocktail

Raspberry Bourbon Cocktail

To go with the Raspberry Chicken I made for dinner tonight, I created this Raspberry Bourbon Cocktail.

Muddle Raspberries, Mint, Ginger and Lime in simple syrup. Stain into glass with ice. Fill with bourbon. Add raspberries, lime, mint as garnish.

If you want more precise instructions, I used a ratio of 2:1 bourbon to simple syrup. As for the muddling, use I used fourberries, one small slice of ginger, a slice of lime and two mint leaves.

If you don’t have simple syrup, you could use a cube or teaspoon of sugar added to the appropriate ratio of water.

  1. I have actually tried a drink similar to this one and it is absolutely delicious. Never tried it with chicken though. Was it a good match?
