RIP Web.Com Tour; Long Live Korn Ferry

Korn Ferry, a Los Angeles-based consulting firm has replaced Web.Com as the sponsor of the PGA TOUR’s developmental league.

The deal takes place immediately and runs through 2028.

Korn Ferry is the tour’s sixth title sponsor.

In its initial incarnation in 1990, the developmental tour was known as the Ben Hogan Tour and was sponsored by the clubmaker. It was the Nike Tour from 1993 – 1999, the Buy.Com Tour from 2000 – 2002, the Nationwide tour from 2003 – 20012. Web.Com took over in June 2002.

Korn Ferry was founded in 1969 by Lester Korn and Richard Ferry. The firm had 2018 revenues of $1.819 billion and a net income of $133,779 million. Korn Ferry has 7, 643 employees. The company has three business segments: Korn Ferry Executive Search, Korn Ferry Advisory and Korn Ferry RPO and Professional Search.
