Ryan Moore Named 2022 MiGCSA President

Ryan Moore, Golf Course Superintendent at Forest Lake Country Club to Lead Michigan Golf Course Superintendents

 Ryan Moore, the Class A Golf Course Superintendent at Forest Lake Country Club in Bloomfield Township, has been elected as the Michigan Golf Course Superintendents Association (MiGCSA) Chapter President for 2022.

 The MiGCSA held its 15th annual meeting and election on Wednesday, March 2, at Boyne Mountain Resort in Boyne Falls.

 Other officers elected to the MiGCSA board include Vice-President Doug Hoeh from Treetops Resort in Gaylord and Secretary/Treasurer Jesse Shaver from Gull Lake Country Club in Richland.

 The election marked the end of board service for Past-President (2020) Rob Steger, CGCS from Red Run Golf Club.

 New members elected to the board include William “Skip” Connolly from the Mines Golf Course in Grand Rapids and Kevin Risch from Saginaw Country Club. This also marked the end of six years board service for Jeff Hopkins from Muskegon Country Club.
