The Legend is one of four courses at the Shanty Creek resort, which was recently named among the Top Golf Resorts in the World by Conde Nast Traveler. The four seasons resort in northern Michigan includes three “villages” over 4,500 acres: Summit, Schuss and Cedar River. Each has lodging, dining, golf, downhill skiing and cross country trails.

Designed by Arnold Palmer, the Legend covers more than 600 acres of Northern Michigan’s spectacular terrain. Palmer predicted that the course would be popular for golfers of all abilities, and that has turned out to be true.
