The Simmons Bank Open began as the Nashville Golf Open in 2016. The Korn Ferry Tour tournament currently is played at the Vanderbilt Legends Club in Franklin, Tennessee.
Scottie Scheffler was runner up, losing in a playoff in 2019.
The tournament benefits the Snedeker Foundation, which was created by PGA TOUR player Brandt Snedeker.
Simmons Bank is based in Arkansas and has operations in that state, as well as Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma Tennessee and Texas.
