TaylorMade 2017 M1 Driver
TaylorMade’s 2017 M1 Driver features a redesigned t-Track system with longer tracks, and more moveable weight. The result is 64% more front-to-back center-of-gravity weight than on the original M1. The front track has 15g weight dials in left-to-right trajectory, and a back track with 12g of weight to adjust flight height. To improve head speed and distance, the club features a new aerodynamic design.
The M1 Driver’s crown is a 6 layer carbon construction with 9-1-1 titanium body and a carbon toe panel. This is 43% more carbon fiber than on the original M1. The weight savings result in an even lower center-of-gravity for better launch conditions and distance.
Finally, the M1 Driver features TaylorMade’s Inverted Cone Technology, which as been part of the clubs for a decade. This functions to help take the face coefficient of restitution to the edge of USGA limits.
