“That Is Money” – New Record Set For Golf Shot Caught In A Moving Car

In the annals of golf strangeness, the record for “farthest golf shot caught in a moving car” has to be in the Top 10.

For the attempt, European Tour player Marcus Armitage teed it up at Elvington Airfield in Yorkshire and tried to lob a drive into a moving BMW driven by BMW motorsport driver Paul O’Neill.

It is strangely fascinating watching, though. Armitage’s enthusiasm is over the top, and it is hilarious that they had to put English subtitles in so we can understand what the English golfer is saying.

The shot of over 300 yards eclipsed the previous record of 273 yards, set in 2012 by Jake Shepherd and Formula 1 driver David Coulthard.
