The Streak At 94: A December Round In Michigan
Today I extended my streak of consecutive months of golf in Michigan to 94.
I arrived at Washtenaw Golf Club shortly after three, and managed to get in fifteen holes before the sun set at five.
The air temperature was forty or so, but with the sun in a nearly cloudless sky, it felt much warmer. After the gale force winds yesterday, the air was nearly still.
I wasn’t the only madman on the course, though. I saw several other players — all on foot — playing as well. We waved at each other from across the fairways.
It’s a secret club: Polar Bears Who Golf.
