The Ungolfing Lover – Golf Poetry

THE UNGOLFING LOVER

NOT long ago,
A blithesome beau,
I sat with Mabel o'er her tea-things;
     The ball of glee
     And repartee
Passed to and fro above the wee things.

     Alas, I now
     With grief avow
That through a shroud of gloom I see things,
     For I've no part
     In her new art.
Although it has to do with "tee"' things.
