Thieves have stolen 3,000 golf balls from a driving range in Joplin, Missouri.
It doesn’t make much sense when you consider the amount of work that it must have taken an the fact that the balls are probably only worth about thirty cents each. That’s an awful lot of work for $900.
Stealing Pro V1s make sense. But driving range balls?
There’s a very entertaining column on the heist in the Joplin Globe.
