Tiger To Play PNC Father Son Challenge With Charlie
Less than a year after a life-threatening, leg-wrecking car crash in Los Angeles, Tiger Woods will play in the PNC Father-Son Challenge next week.
It is the first tournament Woods has played since last year’s PNC Father-Son Challenge, where he and Charlie placed fifth.
While the silly season PNC does not normally get a lot of attention, Tiger’s reappearance will turn on the tv sets. I generally am indifferent to Tiger’s media hype machine, but am interested to see to what extent his recovery has progressed. He apparently displayed his ability to go full on with a driver last week at the Hero. Tiger obviously feels as though he can swing a club. I’m curious as to whether he will walk, or take a cart.
In any case, I’m happy for him that he can share this experience with his son.
Whether you are a Tiger fan or not, the video below should brighten your week. It’s a collection of clips showing Tiger and Charlie eerily in sync in their mannerisms on the course.
