On Saturday, I got out to play at my favorite local track, Green Oaks. Temperatures were in the low 60s, which is extraordinary for December in Michigan. I actually was sweating as I walked the course, thinking that I should have worn shorts.
I sailed through the first nine, then a sixsome on the tenth let me pass through. I joined a group of three on the seventeenth. They were stuck behind several groups playing in an outing.
An outing in December in Michigan. I never thought I’d hear something like that.
After finishing eighteen, I still had forty five minutes until sunset. So I turned and headed back out for another nine. I finished at dusk.
Twenty seven holes on December 12. That’s a first for me.
