Until I Die – Golf Poetry

I hae play'd in the frost and the thaw, 
I hae play'd since the year thirty-three,
I hae play'd in the rain and the snaw,
And I trust I may play till I dee.

This poem, obviously written in vernacular, is the work of Andrew Lang (1844 – 1912), a noted Scottish poet, novelist and literary critic.

Lang also was a respected anthropologist, writing books on folklore and mythology.
