The Golf Blogger likes and admires entrepreneurs of nearly any sort. And he especially loves golf entrepreneurs like Upswing Golf.
Upswing Golf was founded by two industry veterans around the idea of offering top quality clubs at affordable prices. They plan to do that by selling directly to the consumer, eliminating unnecessary markups caused by the distribution system; and by using their experience to ensure top quality manufacturing.
It sounds good to me.
Right now, the company offers utility clubs, drivers, wedges and putters. All are very reasonably priced. Take a look at the site. They may be worth a try.

I recieved a 52 degree Upswing wedge as a gift at a golf tournament. I liked it so much that I purchased one of their titanium drivers and does it every live up to their claims. It cost me half of what I would have paid for a brand name club. These guys know what they are doing.
i just received a voucher for a free club at a golf show in st. louis. though, free actually means $21.95 in shipping charges i took advantage of the offer. i requested the 56 degree sand wedge. i’m curious if anyone else has any experience with similar offers from upswing. i won’t receive my club for another 2-3 weeks and i’m curious if i may have been taken. this seems like it could be a pretty good scam, but i’m hoping that i will be pleasantly surprised. let me know if you know anything about the upswing offers. thanks.
These clubs perform quite well. My new driver is straighter and farther than most of the latest clubs i’ve tested (including those new square shaped ones from Nike and Callaway). I Bought 2 hybrids and a 3 wood, all of which are comparable to any of the top performing clubs on the market as of June 2007.
This Upswing golf certificate says it is a free golf club and they just charge $21.95 for shipping and handling of the club delivery. I went to there headquarters and picked up the club myself and still was charged the $21.95. While I like the wedge that I picked up they should advertise it as a $21.95 dollar club instead of free.
I’ve been away from golf for some time. Went to the local golf dome with my driver and couldn’t hit bupkiss. Got the Upswing driver(went for the graphite shaft), about $40.00 something with shipping. It is a cannon! I find it to be a very forgiving club. Off-sweet-spot hit still travel well and my “boomerang slice” has disappeared. Well worth the price.
hi , very nice post !
i posted a little more than a year ago regarding the upswing voucher that i used to purchase a 56 degree sand wedge. i am very happy with the quality and performance of the club. i certainly recommend trading in vouchers or just simply purchasing this wedge. now if i can just stay out of the sand!
I have been using Taylor Made rescues for a number of years and a Taylor Made Superquad Driver. I always buy name brand and am always sceptical about off-brands but I recently got a 17 degree rescue from Upswing on the advice of a friend and love it. It performs every bit as well as my Taylor Mades, sets up beautifully and the shaft is exceptional. It seems to be every bit of the club for a lot less $$. I am very impressed. I am planning on giving the wedges a try this season.
I received a 7 wood from upswing via certificate and upgraded to the graphite shaft. I have been very impressed with the quality and performance of the club. I find myself reaching for it frequently, because I trust that I can hit it straight and it is especially effective hitting out of the fairway rough. I would recommend the club highly.
i’m interested i buying the upswing 3 wood. do you know what happen to the company? i can’t find them on line
I am chairman of a Charity Golf Outing and have tried to reach the Upswing Golf Company without success. Are they still in business. The phone number on the Free Club Coupon 866-794-6401 does not match the number on the web 866-794-6410 (note the transposition of the last two digirts.
Please advise,
Thanks, Arlen johnson
I have the putter, 60 degree, and 52 degree wedge. They are great clubs. The wedges are especially nice. Easy to hit and great for those in between distances. I use the 60 degree to chip with too when I need more loft.
I first got the clubs at a golf tournament but haven’t seen or heard of them in a while. I think they are gone now. No website and google does not produce a website when searched for.
