A favorite trick of the leftist governments of impoverished second rate countries is to “nationalize” industries, seizing private property to use as cash cows for their own nutty purposes.
In recent years, Venezuelan moonbat Hugo Chavez has led the way. The President of Venezuala has siezed oil fields, steel companies, paper plants—even soft drink manufacturers. And now his political allies have nationalized two golf courses in upper class neighborhoods. Not conicidentally, the courses are located in areas controlled by Chavez’ political opponents.
